Tiong Bahru Estate is one that is carefully conserved by the Urban Redevelopment Authority in Singapore. There are many restrictions and efforts to maintain its original facade of the buildings, from windows to shopfronts. This Art Deco building has features a beautiful red roof, rounded edges and brick walls. All of these elements are unique to the Tiong Bahru enclave.
