This row of shophouse is located on Upper Cross Street. In the Chinatown area, the shophouse facades are distinctly different from those of Katong area. They have emerald Chinese roof designs above the sheltered walkway. The vibrant and lively vibes on this street was what drawn me to paint this piece.
