Original Artwork - Neil Road I, 2025

This is actually part of a pair of Neil Road paintings I’ve done, each focusing on a different shophouse along the same street. What drawn me to this red shophouse was definitely the history behind it. 

9 Neil Road was the first pre-war shophouse to have been carefully restored in the late 80s. Isn't that amazing, if not for this first conservation, we would have more if not all of these beautiful buildings!
