This shophouse is located on East Coast Road. The retro decor of the traditional coffee shop is juxtaposed by bright and youthful colours on the shophouse front.
The challenge of this piece, was the repeated tile patterns on the walls, which are done one by one, so that it has an imperfect look.

Crane Shophouse, 2022
This piece is completed in Sep 2022. It is inspired by a shophouse on Joo Chiat Road. I added a twist and some imagination, to create a vintage European style storefront as the shade of yellow reminds me of Italian buildings.
